Ron and Phyllis Brown have been
training in the Zen-Do Kai system for twenty years. Ron is a sixth degree black belt and
Phyllis is a fourth degree black belt. Both are certified police
defensive tactics instructors for the DSI. They have trained with Sensei
Michael Campos and Sensei Joel Kirch thru out their martial arts careers and
continue training with Sensei Campos. They have also trained with Bill
Wallace, Hidy Ochai, Fumio Demura, Tak Kubuta, Tadashi Yamashita, Ed Parker and many
others during seminars, mainly at
Super Summer Seminar
at Colgate University. They have competed in many tournaments, and have
won numerous trophies, including overall tournament grand champion at Fort
Drum. Their daughter Cheri was a double gold medalist at the junior
Olympics in Tallahassee, Fla. They also assisted Sensei Campos when he
did his seminar for Chuck Norriss U.F.A.F convention.
