March For Life

"The March for life is a peaceful protest March that happens every January 22nd in Washington D.C. I went to it myself 4 times, and I am now 16.  I strongly suggest that you try to contact someone in your area that may being going to this march or maybe organize a trip to the March yourself.  It is an excellent experience.

I went to the 1998, 1999, 2000, and 2001 Marches. There are like 500,000 people there. It is incredible. I usually go with my best friend. He and I travel with a local youth group overnight on a bus for 14 hours. When we get there we usually do a little sight seeing around D.C. and then around one o'clock or so we go to the place where everyone is gathered. We listen to some people talk about life and Roe v. Wade. Then we march with the hundreds of thousands of other people. I had a great time and it was a great witness for life." -- Kira LaRose
