Menstrual ExtractionKnown as the Karman method, this is performed early in the pregnancy. The fetus is suctioned from the uterus, and torn apart in the process. No cervix dilation is needed.
Suction CurettageDuring the first trimester, the cervix is dilated and a tube with a large diameter is inserted because of the large body parts of the fetus. Suction is used to tear apart the fetus and placenta (if the fetus body parts are too large the abortionist removes them manually). Disadvantages to this procedure are that is may damage the womans uterus which will cause a scar and infection, and sometimes the suction might take some of the womans intestines from the body. Dilation and CurettageAlso known as D&C, the cervix is dilated and a curette is inserted to cut up the fetus and scrape out the placenta.
Dilation and EvacuationAlso known as D&E, used during the second trimester. Cervix is dilated more and the fetus is dismembered, its spine is snapped and the skull is crushed for an easy removal. An ultrasound is performed to account for body parts. To soften the fetal tissues the fetus is sometimes killed first by injecting urea into the amniotic fluid or rupturing the membrane and cutting the umbilical cord 24 hours before the abortion.
Saline, Prostaglandin, and Urea InstillationThe abortionist injects a concentrated salt solution or urea into the amniotic fluid surrounding the fetus. It causes burning and poisoning as the fetus ingests it. Prostaglandin hormone will cause uterine contractions to expel the fetus.
Hysterotomy and HysterectomyDuring the second and third trimester. As if it were a Cesarean Section the abortionist surgically opens the uterus and removes the fetus and placenta, and disposes of it, or leaves it to die.
Partial Birth AbortionAlso known as D&X . The fetus is delivered up until its head, then the abortionist forces a pair of curved scissors into the base of the skull of the fetus, then cuts the wound larger with the scissors and inserts a suction tube to suck out his brain and collapse his skull for easy removal. This method has very few complications. Sometimes the fetal tissue from the brain is used for research for age reversing. You are visitor #
