and Caring
- Parishioners
provide meals to individuals who are incapacitated or in crisis.
Usually this is for a few days, but in some cases it could be
for an extended period of time.

Island Fair
- This
annual summer festival provides a variety of activities, articles
for sale, church tours, and, of course, food! The funds raised
are given to a chosen outreach program. It occurs the same weekend
as the annual Potsdam Festival, usually the second weekend in
July.

Visitation
- Stephen
Ministers or other lay persons visit individuals who are homebound.

- Hospital
Calling
- Specific
individuals from Trinity Episcopal Church, Potsdam and St. Philip's
Church, Norwood, make hospital calls on a rotating basis.

- Order
of St. Luke
- This
is an international organization which is liturgically based and
follows specific guidelines to answer those called to a ministry
of healing through Jesus Christ, who is our Leader, Light, King,
Law and Savior.

- Lay
Eucharistic Minister Visitations
- A
lay person, commissioned by the bishop and supported by the priest
and parish, carries communion to the homebound and hospitalized.
A short Communion Service is offered and the Eucharist is given
and received.

- Stephen
Ministry
- This
is a program of one-on-one in-depth Christian care-giving for
individuals in crisis.

- The
C.O.R.C. Thrift Store
- Located
at 8 Willow Street, Potsdam is sponsored by the Council of Religious
Concern (CORC), a consortium of 8 churches in the Potsdam area.
Staffed by a paid manager, part-time associate, and volunteers,
it provides good, used clothing to area residents, college students,
and people in need. Vouchers are available through the Potdam
Neighborhood Center, the Red Cross, and other agencies to fire
victims and other emergency situations.

is a parish women's organization which explores many avenues of
working for the good of the Church.

are many special planned events whereby all ages may participate
together.

school activities include songs, prayers, story-telling and teaching
activities.

- Our
programs for our Parish young people include Youth Sunday once
a month, the annual Christmas Pageant, acolyte training and service,
etc.
